Domestic Violence

This is an up and coming page….

  • This is going to be a resource to help others understand domestic violence, as there are a lot of common misunderstandings that friends and family of the victim have.
  • This is also going to be a resource for victims of domestic violence to be able to find information, as well as support. The goal is to have a place to completely anonymously chat live at whatever time of day or night, and it will not require any account sign up or anything of the sort that would leave a trail that the abusive partner could find on the victims device.
  • This will require more people than just me, so hopefully people will jump on board to be of support and eventually we can expand this out to help victims create safety plans for exit, support groups, etc..

Coming up with a safe exit plan is crucial, as domestic violence can be very deadly. The United States domestic violence national hotline is 800-799-7233. They may be able to provide you with the resources you need to get to safety.

Most importantly, if you are a victim of domestic violence, do not lose hope, know that you are not alone, or crazy, or unworthy, or unlovable.
